We hosted a 1920's murder mystery dinner party. Everyone dressed up and had a character to act out. The party was a ton of fun and everyone got really into it. AJ was murdered and Katy solved the crime.

We celebrated my birthday with a small party at mom and dads. Mom cooked, Lisa made the cake and Elijah and Nathaniel helped open presents. Elijah started eating cake before we blew out the candles. It looked so yummy mommy!

AJ and Elijah have been having a lot of jam sessions lately. They actually sound pretty good! Elijah's latest thing is to find kitchen utensils and use them for drum sticks. Turkey basters seem to work best:)

AJ and I took Elijah to the Seattle Childrens Museum to see the Bob the Builder exhibit. Elijah got to meet Bob, drive tractors, build things, play in the water and camping areas and so much more! It was a great day.

Elijah loves going to the zoo. We go a couple times a month and he enjoys looking at all the animals and playing on the playground. His favorite animals are the monkeys. He goes often enough that now he runs down the paths acting like a tour guide.

We went to cousin Nathaniels birthday party at Chucky Cheese. It was fun playing games and eating cake.

Easter was so much fun this year. It was the first time Elijah did an Easter egg hunt. He had fun looking through the tall grass searching for eggs at the Browns Point Lighthouse park. On Easter we went to church then had brunch.

Elijah had his second birthday! He is such a big boy now. For his party we reserved a room at the local pizza place where the kids could play games and we had lots of space. Elijah got so many wonderful gifts. Thanks to everyone that came to celebrate.

We got a few snow storms this year. Elijah loves the snow. It tastes so yummy! He cant say his S yet so it was know, know, know for a few weeks. His favorite accessory is gloves. He wears one as often as he can, yes just one:). Daddy is excited for when they can go sledding together.

Elijah loves his new guitar. For months he has been looking through catalogs and pointing to his "ga, ga". He even told Santa that he wanted one. This guitar goes everywhere with him. Currently he plays it more as a drum but I'm sure he'll be jammin in no time!

Christmas was so much fun. Elijah is at the age where he really enjoys everything. Leading up to Christmas he read his Rudolph book and watched Christmas cartoons almost every day. He walked around saying "ho, ho, ho" and pointing to Santa. He loved Rudolph so much that he convinced Grandma Leslie to part with hers and he sleeps with it every night. We celebrated all week going to Leslies for Christmas and an amazing dinner that Saturday. Christmas Eve we spent the day togehter, just the three of us. Christmas day the family came over (Wood's, Wiltse's and Leslie). It was a lot of fun having everyone together. The next day we got the celebrate with the Gordon clan. What an exciting time. It was such a blessing to be surrounded by family.

Elijah enjoys going to the Childrens Museum in Tacoma. They have lots of things for him to play with and his favorite is the farm area.

AJ and I went on a cruise with a group from the Tacoma Chamber of Commerce. It was so much fun. We started in San Juan Peurto Rico then sailed to Aruba, Caraco, St. Marteen and St. Thomas. The weather was perfect, sunny and mid 80s the entire time! Their was so much to do on the boat and we enjoyed the time we spent with friends. Our favorite beach was Megans Bay in St. Thomas and the best shopping was in St. Marteen. We took advantage of both:). Mostly we just relaxed. Mom (Ginger) was very kind to watch Elijah while we were gone. He did well and mom is still here so it must have gone okay:).

Halloween was so much fun! Elijah dressed up as a lion. We went trick or treating at the neighbors and got lots of goodies. After that he helped hand out candy when people came to the door. He would watch the street, run over to the door, grab candy out of the pumpkin and put it in the kids buckets. I think that was his favorite part. That and eating all the chocolate:).

We have been having such beautiful fall weather. Last weekend we took advantage and went to the pumpkin patch. Elijah had a great time running through the pumpkins and pulling the wagon. It was three times his size but that never stops him.

We took Elijah to his first Mariners game. He likes "baball". He ate a hotdog and drank a rootbeer. He made lots of friends in the stands and danced to all the music. Plus we won!!! It was a great day.

We took Elijah to the Point Defiance Zoo. He enjoyed seeing all the animals and playing in the kid zone. His favorite was the monkeys and the fish. Of course nothing is better than riding around on Daddy's shoulders:).
